Cold Brew is one of the easiest and most effective ways to brew coffee. The finished product is elegantly low in acidity and incredibly smooth making it deceptively effective for lovers of caffeine. 

After brewing in your fridge for 8-12 hours, be prepared for the flavour and caffeine to sneak right up on you. Cold brew is an excellent way to let all the flavours in your beans fully develop into a smooth blend that’s ready to drink over ice, warmed up or even in cocktails. We love to keep a jug handy in the office fridge; it’s quick and it’s (already) cold. 

How to brew:

  1. Add approximately 40g of coarsely ground coffee into the coffee filter. 

  2. Place the filter into the glass container. 

  3. Slowly and evenly, wet all of the ground coffee with cold water. 

  4. Continue to fill up the container with 600mL of cold water 

  5. Stir gently to ensure all of the grounds are saturated.

  6. Place the lid on top of the container and brew in the fridge for roughly 8-12 hours. 

  7. Remove the filter and enjoy your cold brew over ice, with milk as an iced latte, or in your favourite coffee based cocktail.
